"Worship" includes:
- music that is fresh, alive, and Word-based
- prayer, Scripture reading, sharing
- tithes and offerings are given in our offering box at the back of the sanctuary or online
"The Word" includes:
- working systematically through the whole Bible (Acts 20:27) ... book-by-book, chapter-by-chapter, verse-by-verse
- an undistracted atmosphere so people can settle in to what God is saying through His Word
- an emphasis on knowing, understanding, and applying the Word in wisdom
- if you don't have a Bible, or forget to bring one, we have them at our Welcome Center

Therefore, we remain flexible and yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit in our worship.
We believe worship of God should be inspirational.
Therefore, we give great place to music and the arts in our worship.
We believe worship of God should be intelligent.
Therefore, our services are designed with a major emphasis upon clear teaching through the Word.
We believe worship of God should be fruitful.
Therefore, we look for His love as the supreme manifestation that we have truly been worshiping.

Kids are an integral part of our community life at Calvary South Dayton.
It's a priority to us that kids and students are being well-discipled in the Word of God. We believe this is best accomplished through special activities and lessons designed to meet their unique learning and developmental needs.
Just like the adults at Calvary, kids and students traverse the Scriptures, Genesis to Revelation.
Kids are dismissed to classes after Worship and before the Word portion of our services.
It's a priority to us that kids and students are being well-discipled in the Word of God. We believe this is best accomplished through special activities and lessons designed to meet their unique learning and developmental needs.

Dress at Calvary is casual. Come however you feel most comfortable.
